Hadith 10:1335
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from al-Rukayn, from Abu Talhah al-Asadi, who said: I was sitting with Ibn Abbas when two Bedouins came to him and flanked him. One of them said: "I was searching for some camels of mine, and I stayed with a people. A young woman of theirs pleased me, so I married her. My parents swore that they would never let her join me, and the young man swore, saying: 'Upon me are a thousand freed slaves, a thousand gifts, and a thousand sacrificial camels if I divorce her.'" Ibn Abbas said: "I am not one who would command you to divorce your wife, nor to disobey your parents." He said: "Then what should I do regarding this woman?" He said: "Honor your parents."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا جرير عن الركين عن أبي طلحة الأسدي قال كنت جالسا عند بن عباس فأتاه أعرابيان فاكتنفاه فقال أحدهما إني كنت أبغي إبلا لي فنزلت بقوم فأعجبتني فتاة لهم فتزوجتها فحلف أبواي أن لا يضماها أبدا وحلف الفتى فقال عليه ألف محرر وألف هدية وألف بدنة إن طلقها فقال بن عباس ما أنا بالذي آمرك أن تطلق امرأتك ولا أن تعق والديك قال فما اصنع بهذه المرأة قال إبرر والديك
