Hadith 10:1354
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, from Habib, from Amr, from Ikrimah, that he said: If there did not remain of her waiting period (iddah) except one day, then he died, she inherits from him and she begins anew the waiting period of a woman whose husband has died.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو داود عن حبيب عن عمرو عن عكرمة أنه قال لو لم يبق من عدتها إلا يوم واحد ثم مات ورثته واستأنفت عدة المتوفى عنها
