Hadith 10:1368
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Affan narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from 'Ata: He said: "If the father marries [his daughter] off, then the divorce is in the hand of the father." And Mujahid said: "Whoever possesses the marriage contract, then the divorce is in his hand."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عفان قال نا أبو عوانة عن أبي بشر عن عطاء قال إذا زوج الأب فالطلاق بيد الأب وقال مجاهد من ملك النكاح فإن في يده الطلاق
