Hadith 10:1372
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: I said to 'Ata', "Has it reached you that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) left the people of the Jahiliyyah upon what they were on regarding marriage or divorce?" He said, "Yes."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا حفص عن بن جريج قال قلت لعطاء أبلغك أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ترك أهل الجاهلية على ما كانوا عليه من نكاح أو طلاق قال نعم
