Hadith 10:1391
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Yazid ibn Jabir, from Isma’il ibn ‘Ubayd Allah, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanm, he said: I witnessed ‘Umar giving a boy the choice between his father and his mother.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن عيينة عن يزيد بن يزيد [ بن ] جابر عن إسماعيل بن [ عبيد ] الله عن عبد الرحمن بن [ غنم ] قال شهدت عمرا خير صبيا بين أبيه وأمه
