Hadith 10:1400
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Malik narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Yahya, from al-Qasim: That Umar ibn al-Khattab divorced Jamilah bint Asim ibn Thabit ibn Abi al-Aqlah, so she remarried. Then Umar came and took his son. Al-Shumus bint Abi Amir al-Ansariyyah—and she was the mother of Jamilah—caught up with him and took the boy. They took their dispute to Abu Bakr while they were both clutching him. He (Abu Bakr) said to Umar: "Leave her and her son alone."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن مالك قال نا إبن إدريس عن يحيى عن القاسم أن عمر بن الخطاب طلق جميلة بنت عاصم بن ثابت بن أبي الأقلح فتزوجت فجاء عمر فأخذ ابنه فأدركته الشموس ابنة أبي عامر الأنصارية وهي أم جميلة فأخذته فترافعا إلى أبي بكر وهما متشبثان فقال لعمر خل بينها وبين ابنها
