Hadith 10:1417
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya bin Abi Ghaniyah narrated to us, from his father, from al-Hakam, who said: When a man dies and leaves behind household goods, whatever belongs to the man does not belong to the woman, and whatever belongs to the woman belongs to the woman and does not belong to the man. Whatever is for both men and women, it is for the man, unless the woman provides evidence that it belongs to her.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا يحيى بن أبي غنية عن أبيه عن الحكم قال إذا مات الرجل وترك متاعا من متاع البيت فما كان للرجل فلا يكون للمرأة وما يكون للمرأة لا يكون للرجل هو للمرأة وما يكون للرجال والنساء فهو للرجل إلا أن تقيم المرأة البينة أنه لها
