Hadith 10:1431
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from Sa‘id ibn al-Musayyib: They brought an orphan to ‘Umar, and he said: "Spend upon him." He said: "If I did not find anyone except the most distant of his kin, I would have obligated them [to provide for him]."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو خالد عن حجاج عن عمرو بن شعيب عن سعيد بن المسيب جاؤوا بيتيم إلى عمر فقال أنفق عليه قال لو لم أجد إلا أقصى عشيرته لفرضت عليهم
