Hadith 10:1448
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Sa’id, from Qatada, from Jabir ibn Zayd: That he said: If one of them dies before the *li’an* (mutual cursing), if she confesses to it, she is stoned and the inheritance goes to her. If she persists in denial, she inherits. And if she does not confess to either of the two, there is no inheritance for her and no *’idda* (waiting period) upon her.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الأعلى عن سعيد عن قتادة عن جابر بن زيد أنه قال إذا مات أحدهما قبل الملاعنة إن هي أقرت بها رجمت وصار إليها الميراث وإن التعنت ورثت وإن لم تقر بواحدة منهما فلا ميراث لها ولا عدة عليها
