Hadith 10:1491
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Zadi, the freed slave of Bajila, from al-Sha’bi, that he was asked about a man against whom two men testified regarding the divorce of his wife, so the judge separated them. Then one of the two witnesses retracted [his testimony], and the other [witness] married her. He said: So al-Sha’bi said, "The judgment has passed, and he [the judge] turns his attention to the retraction of the one who retracted."
