Hadith 10:1496
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shababa narrated to us, from Warqa’, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid: "Divorce is twice, then either retention in kindness or release with good treatment." He said: A man divorces his wife while she is pure, without having had intercourse. When she menstruates and then becomes pure, the *qur’* (period of purity) is complete. Then he divorces her a second time, just as he divorced her the first time, if he wishes to do so. When he divorces her the second time and she menstruates the second menstruation, these are two divorces and two *qur’s*. Then Allah the Exalted said regarding the third: "Then either retention in kindness or release with good treatment." So he divorces her during that entire *qur’* if he wishes, when he gathers her clothes upon her.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا شبابة عن ورقاء عن بن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد @QB@ الطلاق مرتان فإمساك بمعروف أو تسريح بإحسان @QE@ قال يطلق الرجل امراته طاهرا من غير جماع فإذا حاضت ثم طهرت فقد تم القرء ثم يطلق الثانية كما يطلق الأولى إن أحب أن يفعل فإذا طلق الثانية ثم حاضت الحيضة الثانية فهاتان تطليقتان وقرءان ثم قال الله تعالى للثالثة @QB@ فإمساك بمعروف أو تسريح بإحسان @QE@ فيطلقها في ذلك القرء كله إن شاء حين تجمع عليها ثيابها
