Hadith 10:1497
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from Tawus, from Ibn ‘Abbas, he said: It is only a separation and an annulment; it is not a divorce. Allah mentioned divorce at the end of the verse and at its beginning. And the *khul’* (divorce initiated by the wife) is between that, so it is not a divorce. Allah the Exalted said: "Divorce is twice, then either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with good treatment."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمر عن طاوس عن بن عباس قال إنما هو فرقة وفسخ ليس بطلاق ذكر الله الطلاق آخر الآية وفي أولها والخلع بين ذلك فليس بطلاق قال الله تعالى @QB@ الطلاق مرتان فإمساك بمعروف أو تسريح بإحسان @QE@
