Hadith 10:1516
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, from Salih ibn Muslim, he said: I asked al-Sha’bi. I said: A man and his wife appointed two arbitrators, then it occurred to them to retract. He said: That is for them as long as they have not spoken [the verdict]. But if they have spoken, then it is not for them to retract.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو أسامة عن صالح بن مسلم قال سألت الشعبي قلت رجل وامرأته حكما رجلين ثم بدا لهما أن يرجعا قال ذلك لهما ما لم يتكلما فإذا تكلما فليس لهما أن يرجعا
