Hadith 10:1539
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Bashir ibn Salman narrated to us, from ‘Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: "Verily, I like to adorn myself for my wife just as I like for my wife to adorn herself for me, because Allah the Exalted says: 'And they (women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them in a just manner.' And I do not like to exact all of my rights upon her, because Allah the Exalted says: 'But men have a degree over them.'"
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع قال نا بشير بن سلمان عن عكرمة عن بن عباس قال إني أحب أن أتزين للمرأة كما أحب أن تتزين لي المرأة لأن الله تعالى يقول @QB@ ولهن مثل الذي عليهن بالمعروف @QE@ 1 وما أحب أن أستنظف جميع حقي عليها لأن الله تعالى يقول @QB@ وللرجال عليهن درجة @QE@
