Hadith 10:1557
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Sawa narrated to us, from Sa’id, from Qatada, from Jabir ibn Zayd, regarding a man who said to his wife, "If I approach you for a year, then you are divorced." He said: If he approaches her before the four months have passed, then she is divorced three times. And if he leaves her until the four months have passed, then she has become separated from him by one [divorce], and he may remarry her if he wishes, but he shall not approach her until the year has passed.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا محمد بن سواء عن سعيد عن قتادة عن جابر بن زيد في رجل قال لأمرأته إن قربتك سنة فانت طالق قال إن قربها قبل أن تمضي الأربعة أشهر فهي طالق ثلاثا وإن تركها حتى تمضي الأربعة أشهر فقد بانت منه بواحدة ويتزوجها إن شاء ولا يقربها حتى تمضي السنة
