Hadith 10:1574
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Qays, from Uthman ibn Abi al-As, who said: The woman experiencing irregular bleeding (mustahada) is not [considered] such for one day, nor two days, nor three, until she reaches ten days. So when she reaches ten days, she is a woman experiencing irregular bleeding (mustahada).
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا محمد بن فضيل عن أشعث عن قيس عن عثمان بن أبي العاص قال لا تكون المستحاضة يوما ولا يومين ولا ثلاثة حتى تبلغ عشرة أيام فإذا بلغت عشرة أيام كانت مستحاضة
