Hadith 10:162
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Shu’bah, who said: I asked al-Hakam about a man who says to his wife, "You are divorced, you are divorced, you are divorced." He said: [It counts as] three, unless he intended [only] the first one. And if he says, "Observe your waiting period (i’taddi)," then it is like that.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع عن شعبة قال سألت الحكم عن الرجل يقول لأمرأته أنت طالق أنت طالق أنت طالق قال لها إلا أن يكون نوى الأولى وإذا قال إعتدي فمثل ذلك
