Hadith 10:177
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Shu’bah, who said: I asked al-Hakam and Hammad about a man who said to his wife, "You are divorced," and he intended the first [instance]. They both said: It is one [divorce].
