Hadith 10:232
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Zayd, from Ayyub, he said: I wrote to Abu Qilabah asking him about the divorce of the pleurisy patient. He wrote back to me that whatever the witnesses testify to, if he was of sound mind, then his divorce is valid; and if he was not of sound mind, then his divorce is not valid.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو أسامة عن حماد بن زيد عن أيوب قال كتبت إلى أبي قلابة أسأله عن طلاق المبرسم فكتب إلي أنه ما شهدت به الشهود إن كان يعقل فطلاقه جائز وإن كان لا يعقل فطلاقه لا يجوز
