Hadith 10:263
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, regarding a man who said to his wife, "I have given you permission, so marry." He said: "If he did not intend a divorce, then it is nothing." This was mentioned to al-Sha'bi, and al-Sha'bi said: "By the One whom he swears by, something less than this would be a divorce."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا هشيم عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم في رجل قال لأمرأته قد اذنت لك فتزوجي قال إن لم ينو طلاقا فليس بشيء فذكر ذلك للشعبي فقال الشعبي والذي يحلف به إن أهون من هذا ليكون طلاقا
