Hadith 10:276
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin Numayr narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik, from Ata’, that he was asked about a man who wrote the divorce of his wife, then regretted it and kept the document. He said: If he kept it, then it is nothing. And if he sent it forth, then it is a divorce.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الله بن نمير عن عبد الملك عن عطاء أنه سئل عن رجل أنه كتب طلاق امرأته ثم ندم فأمسك الكتاب قال إن أمسك فليس بشيء وإن أمضاه فهو طلاق
