Hadith 10:279
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Mughirah, from Ibrahim; and from Muhammad ibn Salim, from al-Sha’bi; and from Yunus, from al-Hasan, regarding the slave girl if she is divorced and has not reached the age of menstruation: They said: She shall observe the waiting period by months. If she menstruates before the months have passed, she shall restart the waiting period by menstruation. If she menstruates after the months have passed, then her waiting period has ended.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا هشيم عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم وعن محمد بن سالم عن الشعبي وعن يونس عن الحسن في الجارية إذاطلقت ولم تبلغ المحيض قالوا تعتد بالشهور فإن حاضت من قبل أن تمضي الشهور استأنفت العدة بالحيض فإن حاضت بعد ما مضت الشهور فقد انقضت عدتها
