Hadith 10:313
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usamah narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah informed us, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman, that one of the governors struck a man until he divorced his wife. He said: So he wrote regarding him to Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz. He said: So he did not permit that.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو أسامة قال أنا شعبة عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن أن عاملا من العمال ضرب رجلا حتى طلق امرأته قال فكتب فيه إلى عمر بن عبد العزيز قال فلم يجز ذلك
