Hadith 10:322
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Husayn, from al-Sha’bi, regarding a man who is coerced into a matter concerning manumission or divorce: He said: If the sultan coerces him, it is valid. And if thieves coerce him, it is not valid.
