Hadith 10:350
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Kathir ibn Hisham narrated to us, from Ja'far ibn Burqan, he said: I heard Ma'mar mentioning from al-Zuhri regarding a man who places the divorce of his wife in her hand, or in the hand of her brother, or her father, or in the hand of anyone: The statement is what he (the one to whom the authority was delegated) says. If he divorces her once, then it is one; and if he divorces her twice, then it is two; and if he divorces her three times, then it is three.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا كثير بن هشام عن جعفر بن برقان قال سمعت معمرا يذكر عن الزهري في الرجل يجعل طلاق امرأته بيدها أو أخيها أو أبيها أو بيد أحد فالقول ما قال إن طلقها واحدة فواحدة وإن طلقها ثنتين فثنتين وإن طلق ثلاثا فثلاثا
