Hadith 10:371
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Bishr, he said: I heard Ikrimah narrating that Abu al-Darda was approached while he was in al-Sham regarding a man who gave his wife the choice [of divorce], and she chose her husband. He said: "It is nothing." He said: And Ibn Abbas used to issue fatwas according to that, and Aban ibn Uthman judged by it in Medina.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الله بن مبارك عن يحيى بن بشر قال سمعت عكرمة يحدث أن أبا الدرداء أتي وهو بالشام في رجل خير امرأته فاختارت زوجها قال ليس بشيء قال وكان بن عباس يفتي بذلك وقضى به أبان بن عثمان بالمدينة
