Hadith 10:388
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu’awiyah narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, who said: Abdullah said: If a man places the affair of his wife in the hand of a man, and he (the husband) stands up before he (the man) has decided anything regarding that, then there is no affair for her.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو معاوية عن حجاج عن بن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد قال قال عبد الله إذا جعل الرجل أمر امرأته بيد رجل فقام قبل أن تقضي في ذلك شيئا فلا أمر لها
