Hadith 10:397
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Humayd, from al-Hasan ibn Muslim: That a man placed the matter of his wife in her hand (i.e., gave her the choice of divorce). She stood up and did not decide anything. The matter was raised to Ibn al-Zubayr. He said, "Upon what did you stand up?" She said, "Upon not returning to him." So he separated her from him.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو داود الطيالسي عن حماد بن سلمة عن حميد عن الحسن بن مسلم أن رجلا جعل أمر امرأته بيدها فقامت ولم تقض شيئا فرفع إلى بن الزبير فقال على ما قمت قالت على أن لا أرجع إليه فأبانها منه
