Hadith 10:4
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Yazid, from Ibn Sirin, he said: A man said—meaning Ali—: "If the people had attained the [correct] limit of divorce, no man would regret a woman he divorces while she is pregnant, having become clear that she is pregnant, or [is] pure [and] he has not had intercourse with her. He waits until, when he is at the beginning of her waiting period, if it occurs to him, he takes her back, and if it occurs to him, he lets her go."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع عن يزيد عن بن سيرين قال قال رجل يعني عليا لو أن الناس أصابوا حد الطلاق ما ندم رجل على امرأة يطلقها وهي حامل قد تبين حملها أو طاهر لم يجامعها ينتظر حتى إذا كان في قبل عدتها فإن بدا له أن يراجعها وإن بدا له أن يخلي سبيلها
