Hadith 10:415
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from al-Sha’bi, he said: Abdullah ibn Shaddad testified regarding Urwah ibn al-Mughirah that Umar made it one [pronouncement of divorce], and he [the husband] is more entitled to her. And al-Riyash ibn Adi testified regarding Ali that he made it three. And Shurayh said: "His intention."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن إدريس عن الشيباني عن الشعبي قال شهد عبد الله بن شداد عن عروة بن مغيرة أن عمر جعلها واحدة وهو أحق بها وأن الرياش بن عدي شهد على علي أنه جعلها ثلاثا وأن شريحا قال نيته
