Hadith 10:486
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, from Mansur, from al-Sha'bi, from Masruq, from Abdullah, regarding a man who gifts his wife to her family: He said: If her family accepts her, then it is a revocable divorce, and he possesses the right to take her back. And if they do not accept her, then it is nothing.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن منصور عن الشعبي عن مسروق عن عبد الله في الرجل يهب امرأته لأهلها قال إن قبلها أهلها فتطليقة يملك رجعتها وإن لم يقبلوها فلا شيء
