Hadith 10:491
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from ‘Abd al-Karim, from ‘Ata’, regarding a man who married a woman then gifted her to her family. ‘Ata’ said: If they accept her, then it is an irrevocable divorce (taliqa ba’ina). And if they reject her, then there is nothing.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع عن سفيان عن عبد الكريم عن عطاء في الرجل تزوج امرأة ثم وهبها لأهلها قال عطاء إن قبلوها فهي تطليقة بائنة وإن ردوها فلا شيء
