Hadith 10:495
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us: If he gifts her to her family and he does not intend by that divorce, then it is nothing, whether they accept it or reject it. And if he intended divorce, then it is what he intended of the divorce, whether they accept it or reject it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع إذا وهبها لأهلها وهو لا يريد بذلك الطلاق فليس بشيء قبلوها أو ردوها وإن نوى طلاقا فهو ما نوى من الطلاق قبلوها أو ردوها
