Hadith 10:527
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Hisham, from Qatada, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas. And al-Sha’bi from Makhul, and Sufyan from whoever heard Ibrahim and al-Sha’bi, they said: Divorce is by the men, and the waiting period (‘iddah) is by the women.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع عن هشام عن قتادة عن عكرمة عن بن عباس والشعبي عن مكحول وسفيان عمن سمع إبراهيم والشعبي قالوا الطلاق بالرجال والعدة بالنساء
