Hadith 10:588
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from al-Hakam, that Hani’ ibn Qabisah al-Shaybani—and he was a Christian—had four wives, and they accepted Islam. So ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab wrote that they should remain with him.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع عن شعبة عن الحكم أن هانئ بن قبيصة الشيباني وكان نصرانيا عنده أربع نسوة فأسلمن فكتب عمر بن الخطاب أن يقرون عنده
