Hadith 10:593
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Salam ibn Harb narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Farwah, from al-Zuhri, that the wife of Ikrimah ibn Abi Jahl accepted Islam before him, then he accepted Islam while she was in her waiting period (iddah), and she was returned to him, and that was during the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد السلام بن حرب عن إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي فروة عن الزهري أن امرأة عكرمة بن أبي جهل أسلمت قبله ثم أسلم وهي في العدة فردت إليه وذلك على عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
