Hadith 10:602
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, regarding a man who performs *zihar* (declares his wife unlawful like his mother) upon his wife and does not specify a time limit. He said: His wife does not become irrevocably separated from him, even if he does not have intercourse with her, as long as he is delaying [the performance of] the expiation.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم في الرجل يظاهر من امراته ولا يوقت أجلا قال لا تبين منه امرأته وإن لم يقع عليها ما دام يتلوم في الكفارة
