Hadith 10:630
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Maymun, the freed slave of the family of Samurah, from Urwah ibn Qa’id, that a man said to his wife: "If you do such and such, then you are not my wife." She did it, so she went with him to Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, and he said: "What did he intend?" And she came with him to Abu Ubayd Allah al-Hudhali, and he said: "What did he intend?" And Sa’id ibn Jubayr said: "It is nothing."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع عن إبراهيم بن ميمون مولى آل سمرة عن عروة بن قائد أن رجلا قال لامرأته إن فعلت كذا وكذا فلست لي بامرأة ففعلت فانطلقت معه إلى عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى فقال ما نوى وأتت معه أبا عبيد الله الهذلي فقال ما نوى وقال سعيد بن جبير ليس بشيء
