Hadith 10:653
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from ‘Ubayd Allah, Sulayman ibn Yasar, and Humayd ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman: We heard Abu Hurayrah saying: I asked ‘Umar about a man from the people of Bahrain who divorced his wife one pronouncement or two pronouncements, then she married [another], then her husband divorced her, then the first [husband] married her—upon how many [pronouncements] is she with him? He said: She is upon what remains of the divorce.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري عن عبيد الله وسليمان بن يسار وحميد بن عبد الرحمن سمعنا أبا هريرة يقول سألت عمر عن رجل من أهل البحرين طلق امرأته تطليقة أو تطليقتين فتزوجت ثم إن زوجها طلقها ثم إن الأول تزوجها على كم هي عنده قال هي على ما بقي من الطلاق
