Hadith 10:673
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Sa’id, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan and Ikrimah: And the letter of Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz [stated] that they said: If one of them precedes the other in Islam, then there is no way for him over her except by a [new] proposal.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الأعلى عن سعيد عن قتادة عن الحسن وعكرمة وكتاب عمر بن عبد العزيز أنهم قالوا إذا سبق أحدهما صاحبه بالإسلام فلا سبيل له عليها إلا بخطبة
