Hadith 10:690
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from his father, who said: It is not lawful for him to take a ransom from his wife if she does not obey him and does not fulfill an oath for him. If she did that, and there was something from her before it, the ransom becomes lawful for him. If he refuses to accept the ransom from her, and she refuses to obey him, they shall send two arbiters: an arbiter from his family and an arbiter from her family.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا جرير عن مغيرة عن أبيه قال لا يحل له أن يأخذ فدية من امرأته ان لا تطيعه ولا تبر له قسما فإن فعلت ذلك فكان من قبلها شيء حلت له الفدية فإن أبى أن يقبل منها الفدية وأبت أن تطيعه بعثا حكمين حكما من أهله وحكما من أهلها
