Hadith 10:700
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Tawus used to say: "The ransom (khul‘) is permissible for her by what Allah said: 'Unless they both fear that they will not be able to keep the limits of Allah.'" And he did not use to say the speech of the foolish, such as saying: "I will not perform ghusl for you from janabah." Rather, he used to say: "Unless they both fear that they will not be able to keep the limits of Allah," regarding what is obligatory for each of them toward the other in terms of companionship and association.
