Hadith 10:743
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Abdullah, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, that Al-Rubayyi’ sought khul’ (divorce initiated by the wife) from her husband. Mu’awwidh came to Uthman and asked him about it. He said: "She shall undergo the waiting period (iddah)." He said: "Yes, she shall undergo the waiting period."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا الثقفي عن عبد الله عن نافع عن بن عمر أن الربيع اختلعت من زوجها فأتى معوذ عثمان فسأله فقال تنتقل قال نعم تنتقل
