Hadith 10:749
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Yahya bin Sa'id, that he heard him saying: They perform *khul'* (divorce initiated by the wife) among themselves without the authority (Sultan). But if it is raised to the authority, he validates it.
