Hadith 10:754
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn Hayy, from al-Dahhak, who said: Ibn Mas’ud and Ibn Abbas differed regarding a man who khul’s (seeks separation from) his wife, then divorces her. One of them said: "His divorce is nothing." The other said: "As long as she is in the waiting period (iddah), the divorce applies to her."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا عبد الله بن مبارك عن الحسن بن [ حي ] عن الضحاك قال اختلف بن مسعود وبن عباس في الرجل يخلع امرأته ثم يطلقها قال أحدهما ليس طلاقه بشيء وقال الآخر ما دامت في العدة فإن الطلاق يلحقها
