Hadith 10:772
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hamid ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Hasan, from Mutarrif, from al-Sha’bi: He said: The woman who obtains a khul’ (divorce by compensation) is entitled to housing and maintenance, because if she wished, she could have married her husband during her waiting period; she would have married him.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا حميد بن عبد الرحمن عن حسن عن مطرف عن الشعبي قال للمختلعة السكنى والنفقة لأنها لو شاءت تزوجت زوجها في عدته تزوجته
