Hadith 10:773
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ and ‘Abdah narrated to us, from Isma’il, from Ibrahim al-Basri, from al-Sha’bi: He was asked about the woman who obtains a khul’ (divorce by returning the dowry): Does she have [the right to] maintenance? He said: How can he provide maintenance for her while he is taking [wealth] from her?
