Hadith 10:778
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Mutarrif, from al-Sha’bi, who said: There is no *mut’ah* (consolatory gift) for the woman who obtains a *khul’* (divorce initiated by the wife). How can he give her a consolatory gift when he is taking [something] from her?
