Hadith 10:814
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Kathir ibn Hisham narrated to us, from Ja’far, from Maymun, regarding the woman who seeks khul’ (divorce by ransom): If her husband accepts the ransom from her, then proposes to her after that, he said: He marries her and specifies a dowry for her. If he divorces her before he consummates the marriage with her, then she has half of the dowry. Ja’far said: And someone other than Maymun used to say: She has the full dowry.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا كثير بن هشام عن جعفر عن ميمون في المختلعة إذا قبل زوجها الفدية ثم خطبها بعد ذلك قال يتزوجها ويسمي لها صداقا فإن طلقها قبل أن يدخل بها فلها نصف الصداق قال جعفر وكان غير ميمون يقول لها الصداق كاملا
