Hadith 10:822
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Habib, who said: I asked Sa’id, the governor of Makkah, about *al-ila’* (the vow of abstinence). He said: Ibn Abbas used to say, "If four months have passed, she possesses her own affair." And Ibn Umar used to say that.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن فضيل عن الأعمش عن حبيب قال سألت سعيدا امير مكة عن الإيلاء فقال كان بن عباس يقول إذا مضت أربعة أشهر ملكت امرها وكان بن عمر يقول ذلك
